Defensive weapon/urban rifle basics

The instructors at RyanMyersShooting.com believe that the modern self-loading rifle (SLR), referred to by the liberal media as an “assault rifle” is actually a “defense rifle” and one of the most powerful and necessary tools in your defensive shooting arsenal. A properly deployed and operated SLR can effectively control threats at both close and far distances. Whether it be the AK47/74, AR 15 or M4 Carbine, the Defensive Weapon/ Urban Rifle Basic course will discuss how to choose the proper Defensive Rifle, as well as teach you the basic skills necessary to operate your SLR safely, including cleaning and maintenance, loading and unloading, weapon firing and manipulation, malfunction clearing and much more. Students completing this course will have the basic skills necessary to effectively operate their rifle as well as transition into the more advanced rifle courses offered by RyanMyersShooting.club or any of the other high quality carbine training classes offered around the country.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED
- Modern SLR variant (AR15, M4 Carbine, AK 47/74, etc)*
- 400 rounds of ammunition*
- Belt, holster, magazine carrier*
- Minimum of 3 magazines*
- Hearing and Eye Protection
- Ball Cap or Hat
